Dr. Maureen Kirk

Dr. Maureen Kirk is a native Arizonan and received her Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology from Arizona State University. She is passionate about getting to know her clients and patients and answering questions about pet health, optimum healthcare and performing high quality medicine. Dr. Kirk lives with her husband Matt, their five dogs, one cat, one Blue-Tongued Skink, three Koi fish and one Betta fish. In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing, drawing, knitting, sewing and gardening.

Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Nicole L. Young

Dr. Young is a Wisconsin native (Go Packers!) with more recent roots in Arizona. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Arizona State University (Go Devils!) and returned home to Wisconsin to complete her veterinary medical degree at the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Veterinary Medicine (Go Badgers!). Ava is Dr. Young’s Border Collie Husky mix, whose favorite activities include singing and playing with cat toys. A fan of the herding breeds, Dr. Young has another senior Border Collie, Sam, who lives to play fetch.

North Kenilworth Veterinary Care is situated on the southern edge of the Willo District, one of central Phoenix’s many historic residential neighborhoods, in a historic building that was carefully restored and renewed. The clinic is equipped with the latest in veterinary medical and surgical equipment which enables us to provide a full range of diagnostic tests and procedures.
